So when Halo 2 came out I was addicted right from the start, the story was great and the multiplayer was even better. Halo 2 pretty much came out right when XBL did. To me I think Halo 2 made Xbox live even more popular. What I really want to talk about is why did they make halo 3 not as good and addictive on the Multiplayer side? To me they made the BR slower and the whole first person not as fun. In h2 everything was faster pace and all around funner, people would sit in custom games and BS all day and Play hidden seek which was great, Also they made it were you could super bounce and get out of the level. Why didn't they do this kind of stuff on halo3???? I was disappointed, what do you think?

Back in the good ol' days of XBL when Halo 2 reigned supreme. I met so many friends and played so many crazy gametypes, it was great. Now, I have to say that with the addition of Forge mode, Halo 3 did have some fun custom gametypes-like Jenga. With that said, there were so many gametypes to play in Halo 2 that were just better. I had more fun sucking it up on Halo 2 than being decent at Halo 3. Let's just hope Reach is better than Halo 3.

Halo 1 was the best of the entire series.
For all the epicness halo 2 and 3 beats us over the head with, Halo 1 rules supreme.

I really wanna get a new PC with Windows 7 on it so I can play the PC version of Halo 2. Halo 3 just doesn't feel as much like Halo to me. The sound effects in particular are more dulled down and quieter than either Halo 1 or 2, especially the assault rifle. In Halo 1 it had a nice bang sound to it, but in Halo 3 it sounds like a toy gun, like someone took the original sound effects for the AR and muffled them. Kinda like how in Super Mario 64, the sound effects in that game are SIMILAR to the sound effects we're familiar with, like going down a warp pipe or collecting coins, but they aren't the same sound effects.

Halo 3 just has a much different atmosphere than its predecessors. It's too melodramatic and sad, and I miss having Cortana chirping in my ear for half the damn game. I also don't remember hearing the guitar riff-laden main theme music nearly as much as I should have! Instead, at the main menu we got that depressing ass piano music! What the fuck, how is that supposed to get me pumped?

Plus, I'm getting really fucking sick of how nobody uses anything but the BR all the time. It's boring as shit knowing everyone has the exact same gun, especially when that gun is a boring as shit Earth-based regular rifle. I'm a sucker for lasers and shit, but still. It doesn't feel like Halo unless there's plasma flying around, dammit.
